Fished most of the morning over 90 fow with very little action. We switched tactics and went in shallow (<50fow) looking for lakers. 20mins after setting up the slide diver rod went off. I knew it was big when i handed off the rod. Ashley fought it like a pro, and when it hit the deck we knew it was a different class of salmon. We packed in everything and headed in for more ice. After a few calls we found a certified scale at the feed lot. 34lbs!!!
